WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE UNIQUE

This intensive course goes far beyond teaching sequences of stretches in supine and prone positions. It is carefully designed to provide a deep, holistic understanding of Thai massage and the skills needed to practice safely, effectively, and intuitively.

TEACHER INTRODUCTIONS

Mav

Mav is an international bodywork teacher and facilitator specializing in teaching Thai massage, Chi nei Tsang, with emphasis of understanding conscious, therapeutic touch. With over a decade of experience, his work integrates Thai Massage, Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist abdominal massage) , Karsai Nei Tsang, Yin Yoga, somatic bodywork, and subtle energy practices.

Trained across Asia and within global somatic and healing lineages, Mav is known for blending precise technique with deep nervous-system awareness and intuitive presence. His teaching emphasizes listening through the hands, working safely with fascia and organs, and supporting both practitioner and receiver in a grounded, ethical way.

Mav has worked with and taught hundreds of people through 1:1 sessions, professional trainings, workshops, retreats, and festivals. His work is widely described as deeply nourishing and transformative, helping people reconnect with their bodies and experience touch as a source of regulation, trust, and integration.

ABOUT THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage, with origins in India over 2,500 years ago, is a traditional healing art that combines influences from Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. It is based on the concept of Sen lines (energy lines) and was originally practiced as Thai yoga massage. This ancient practice works on both the body and energy system, promoting balance, health, and overall well-being.

THE VENUE

EQUILIBRA – A sanctuary for inner alchemy and awakening, located in Filzbach, in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by majestic mountains. The view of the beautiful Lake Walensee and its waterfalls, along with many wonderful hiking trails right outside the door, invites you to relax. In the 1920s, the building was a silk factory, later a mini-golf course, before it was converted into three apartments. Today, it has been lovingly renovated, preserving the charm of the building.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodations at Equilibra are on-site and offer enough privacy and space for your comfort. 

We have a showerplan and share all bathrooms. There are 4 showers which is enough for the small group size that we accomodate.

In our cozy 64m² dormitory, there are no bunk beds, and everyone has their own privacy through dividers or curtains.
